I wrote this song about a past relationship of mine and how easy it was for me to fall for that person in the beginning. Before going through any rough patches, everything seemed so carefree. After awhile, things started to get messy, we were never on the same page - it just wasn't working. We ended up in a completely different spot than where we started, and once it was over, I found myself constantly looking back on when it was good. When it was easy.
